Can I get a non-owner SR22 in Ohio?

Direct Answer

We do not currently write policies in Ohio. However, Ohio does allow non-owner SR22 filings through authorized carriers in that state. You would need to contact an Ohio-licensed insurance agent or carrier that writes SR22 policies.

Our Coverage Area

We currently file SR22 certificates in 10 states: Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Ohio is not among our served states at this time.

Finding Ohio SR22 Coverage

Ohio does require SR22 filings for certain violations, and non-owner SR22 policies are available through carriers licensed in Ohio. To find coverage:

  • Contact the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles for a list of authorized SR22 carriers
  • Look for independent insurance agents in Ohio who specialize in high-risk auto insurance
  • Ask specifically about non-owner SR22 policies — not all agents are familiar with them

If you need SR22 coverage in any of our 10 served states, call (855) 678-6977 and we can help.
